3) About us:

We can also design and manufacture according to your request. Shanghai Tankii Alloy Material Co., Ltd. is specialized in production of Ni-Cr Alloy, Cu-Ni Alloy, Fechral, thermocouple wire, pure nickel and other precision alloy materials in the form of wire, strip, rod, bar and plate.

4) Alloy character:

Ferritic alloys allow to reach process temperatures of 2192 to 2282F,
Corresponding to a resistance temperature of 2372F. All ferritic alloys have approximatively the same basis composition: 20 to 25 % of chromium, 4.5 to 6 % of aluminium, balance being iron. Some of them contain in addition rare earth, as yttrium or silicium. Those alloys having a ferritic structure, we observe, after a maintenance at high operating temperature, an important growth of the grain and a precipitation of chromium carbides at the grain joints level. This induces an increased embrittlement of the resistance, especially when it is come again at ambient temperature.

Aplication:

The term "Styrofoam" is a trademarked name of the Dow Chemical Company. Technically and generically, it's known as "expanded polystyrene foam" or "EPS foam."

Unfortunately, EPS foam can't be recycled and re-used to make something new. Plastic soda bottles, plastic bags and other plastic products are easily recycled, but EPS foam is almost useless in the recycling industry. Almost none of the recycling companies that serve residential customers want or accept it.

However, EPS foam has many uses.

• Architects use it to create models of the building they propose to build.
• Designers of every stripe use it to create prototypes of things they wish to make.
• Artists use EPS foam to create elaborate art pieces.
• Hobby enthusiasts use it build lifelike model railroad scenery while model airplane and boat makers use it to construct their air and water vehicles.
• In industry, EPS foam is used to package eggs. It's used as "shipping peanuts" to protect delicate items that must be sent through the postal service, UPS or FedEx, to package electronic products...and the list goes on.

Foam cutter:

A hot-wire foam cutter is a tool used to cut polystyrene foam and similar materials. The device consists of a thin, taut metal wire, often made of nichrome or stainless steel, or a thicker wire preformed into a desired shape, which is heated via electrical resistance to approximately 200°C. As the wire is passed through the material to be cut, the heat from the wire vaporises the material just in advance of contact.

The depth of the cut is limited only by the wire length. Width of cut is limited by throat, if any.

Hot wire foam cutting tables can use a vertical or a horizontal wire, usually with a horizontal table used as a guide or for securing the foam work piece.

A table with a vertical wire is mainly used by hobbyists to cut small and complex shapes such as letters. Only prismatic members can be cut on this type of table.

Tables with horizontal wires are heavily used in construction and packaging. The cutting wire is attached to tracks on either side of the table enabling it to be moved up and down making cuts very exact. This table type can also perform angular cuts.
